Darryll Sundberg

I was born and raised in Ishpeming, Michigan and currently reside in Ishpeming Township on the Dead River Hoist Basin. I am a licensed Professional Engineer and a licensed Realtor in Michigan. My work career started in the construction industry in 1971 and then consulting engineering in 1980 as the co-founder of Sundberg, Carlson and Associates, Inc. and I retired from that firm when it was sold in 2001. I am currently associated as part-time engineer with Sundberg and Associates, Inc. as its President. I have also been a licensed Realtor with Century 21 Prime Realty since 2002.

I hold college degrees in Electrical and Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University (MTU) and have taken graduate courses toward a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's Degree in Business Administration. In 2009 I was inducted into the select group of 100+ graduate engineers from Michigan Tech being Michigan Tech's Academy of Civil and Environmental Engineers.

I have been an officer and director on several corporation and association boards over the past 35 years. Including, President/CEO of Sundberg, Carlson and Associates, Inc., Secretary and Treasurer of the Upper Peninsula Distributors Association. I was a member of the Marquette County Road Commission Board for 10 years and was its Chairman for 5 years. I am currently the Secretary and Treasurer of Marquette Range Engineers Club, Director and Corporate Treasurer of Dead River Campers, Inc., and President of St. Joseph Catholic Church Holy Name Society. I have also held the Elected Marquette County Position of Drain Commissioner.
